At the Bagmati River we saw one of Nepal’s most sacred urban landscapes, powerful, moving, and very much alive with ritual. Hugh and I always remember places that reveal so much about belief and daily life at once. Pashupatinath is one of the most sacred Hindu shrines in the world.
